Have you ever experienced issues logging into a Web site?
Many times, when you call a company’s technical support department, one of the first things they ask you to do is to clear your Internet browser’s cookies and cache. You can save yourself some time by trying this process on your own before picking up the phone.
But, unless you do this periodically, chances are you might be a little hazy on the steps you need to follow. If you are in need of a refresher course, or if you have no clue what we’re even talking about, we have a video to help walk (and talk) you through the process.
If you’d like to skip ahead to the section covering your Internet browser, you can use these timestamps:
- Internet Explorer: 1:23
- Safari (Mac): 2:00
- Mozilla Firefox (Mac): 2:24
- Google Chrome (Mac): 3:01
- Ending: 3:31 – We think the ending is worth watching, but we’ll leave that up to you.
If you’re using Internet Explorer, we also have a downloadable PDF with step-by-step instructions.
