Shred Day at Central National Bank

Our next Shred Day will be Saturday, October 14th. If you have documents and papers that need to be disposed of responsibly, we’d like to invite you to join us for a complimentary shred event at our Highway 84 banking center (8320 W Highway 84). From 9:30 to 11 a.m., we’ll have HOT Shred trucks on-site to take and shred old mail, bank statements, plastic cards (like debit cards), envelopes, and compact discs.

If you are able to join us, please enter from the west side of our back parking lot. This lot can be accessed from the south on Old Hewitt Rd. The east side of the parking lot will only serve as an exit.

All shred material will be collected into secure bins, locked, and then transported to an off-site shred facility. Material will not be shredded on-site.

Please enter the back parking lot from Old Hewitt Rd. Click to see a larger map.

For paper items, you do not need to remove staples or paper clips, but we do ask that you please remove any other metal items (such as hanging files or binder rings). And so that we can best accommodate everyone, we also kindly ask that you please only bring material that needs to be shredded. Old phone books, magazines, newspapers, and junk mail can be recycled at the Cobbs Recycling Center or via the city’s curbside recycling program.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to bring more than five boxes/bags of material, please contact Veronicka Thompson at vthompson@cnbwaco.com or 254.399.7256.

Note: In the event of inclement weather, changes to event hours (or cancellation) will be communicated on Facebook and Twitter (@CentralNatlBank).
