Central National Bank’s Matt Helton was recently selected as a Waco Under 40 honoree, a distinction bestowed annually by the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce to “rising young leaders who have distinguished themselves in their careers and in the community.”

Helton, who serves as Vice President & Cashier for Central National Bank, joins 17 other honorees who will be formally recognized later this fall at a reception hosted by Bird Kultgen Ford.

“It is a humbling experience to be recognized among this remarkable group of young Waco leaders, and I hope that this recognition is another opportunity for me and my fellow nominees to continue serving our neighbors and community with the best of our abilities and skills,” said Helton. “I am thankful for the professional support provided by Central National Bank and the leadership example set by my CNB colleagues. I count myself fortunate to be connected with an organization that believes a business is only as successful as the community it serves.”

Helton started with CNB in May of 2018 as a member of the accounting team. Shortly thereafter, he was elected as an officer of the bank, and in 2022, he was appointed Vice President. Today, in addition to his accounting responsibilities, he presides as the executive officer at the Highway 84 banking center.

Helton becomes the third Central National Bank employee to receive the Waco Under 40 recognition, joining CNB’s Caitlyn Remson (2020) and Bryan Fonville (2019).

Congratulations, Matt, on this well-deserved honor.
